At least three people including a child were taken to the hospital Friday night after a two-car accident in Tooele County.

The crash happened at about 8:40 p.m., on State Road 36 about 12 miles north of Vernon, according to a Tooele County dispatcher.

Three helicopters flew patients to various hospitals. The cause of the accident and the number of those injured were not immediately known.
