Police are trying to determine who shot a man who fled to a Sugar House drugstore for treatment Monday afternoon.
The man, 21, arrived at the Walgreen's at 909 E. 2100 South with a gunshot wound in the upper leg about 3:30 p.m., said Salt Lake City police Lt. Isaac Atencio.
Three people who were with the man said he was shot at Elizabeth Street and Garfield Avenue. Investigators found a spent shell casing and drugs at the scene, Atencio said.
Police are trying to identify a car that may have been involved in the shooting.
