The couple died after they were struck by their 15-year-old daughter, who was taken to a hospital for treatment but later released, the AP reported.
The National Park Service said the family was sightseeing on two personal watercraft near Peekaboo Arch in the San Juan arm of Lake Powell when one watercraft slowed and was hit by the other.
The crash remained under investigation Sunday, but authorities say drugs and alcohol were not involved in the crash.
