Salt Lake County Council • Will certify the results of the June 26 primary election, including the hotly contested GOP mayoral race; Tuesday, July 10, 4 p.m., Council Chambers, North Building, County Government Center, 2001 S. State St. At a 2:30 p.m. work session in Room 2003 of that building, the council will receive a report from the Mayor’s Office on design plans for the Capitol Theatre renovation and a request from civilian employees of the Sheriff’s Office for an election to determine if they may join the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees union. From 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Room 2003, council members and officials from cities in the valley will continue discussion as the "Committee on the Future of Salt Lake County."

South Jordan Planning Commission » Will consider multi-family subdivision in Daybreak, also a conditional use permit for a new gas station and convenience store at 11415 S.
