State St. At a 2:30 p.m. work session in Room 2003 of that building, the council will receive a report from the Mayor’s Office on design plans for the Capitol Theatre renovation and a request from civilian employees of the Sheriff’s Office for an election to determine if they may join the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees union. From 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Room 2003, council members and officials from cities in the valley will continue discussion as the "Committee on the Future of Salt Lake County."
