Lehi boy dies after tombstone falls on him

A 4-year-old boy died after, police say, a headstone fell on him Thursday evening.

Park City Police say the incident happened at 6 p.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery, 402 Silver King Drive. Officers were dispatched to the area on a report that a young boy was injured by a falling headstone.

Responding officers arrived at the scene, and took the boy to Park City Medical Center for treatment, but he later died from his injuries.

The boy was not identified Thursday, but police said his family resides in Lehi.
