Salt Lake City police say a motorist rammed his car into a 91-year-old man's shopping cart because the man was going too slow.
The collision knocked down the elderly man, giving him minor injuries, according to the Salt Lake City police watch log.
About 4 p.m. Friday, the man had unloaded his shopping cart and was walking it back into the Walmart near 300 W. 1300 South. A 55-year-old driver honked for the man to move, the watch log says.
When the man didn't move, the driver accelerated his car into the shopping cart, according to the watch log. Police are asking prosecutors to consider felony assault charges against the driver.
