A fire in a remote part of eastern Uintah County had burned bout 300 acres by Friday evening.
Crews were called to respond to the Wolf Den Fire at about 2:15 p.m. Friday.

The fire was located about four miles north of Big Park, which is about 35 miles southeast of Vernal and about 10 miles west of the Colorado border.
Dirk Huber, assistant manager for the Uintah Basin Fire Center said no structures were at risk, but oil and gas recovery infrastructure was threatened.
The fire is burning quickly through dry grass and sage. Huber said the fire had "extremely high spread potential."
