A man driving a car at the intersection of 300 South and Main Street sustained very minor injuries after being hit by a Utah Transit Authority train Saturday evening.
A green line TRAX train was headed north at about 9:30 p.m. when, "It seems he may have been trying to make a U-Turn," UTA spokesman Steve Allnatt said.

The driver was cited for the accident.
Medical personnel were called, but the man was not taken to the hospital.
Trains were delayed for about 20 minutes. Passengers on the trains were not injured and the trains were navigated around accident scene.
The TRAX train car sustained minor front-end damage, while the man’s car was nearly totaled, Allnatt said.
