He wanted a haircut. But he wanted it naked.

A 28-year-old Magna man was charged in 3rd District Court on Thursday after police say he went to a hair salon in Salt Lake County, demanding two women cut his hair while he was naked. He was charged with two counts of misdemeanor lewdness, felony assault by a prisoner and interference with an arresting officer.

An employee at Great Clips, at 3500 South 8000 West, told police that she was outside of the store with another female employee when the man approached them — wearing clothes — acting belligerent. He followed them into the store, demanding the nude haircut.

He then left the store, and went to a nearby Smith's parking lot, according to police records. He spent about an hour in the parking lot removing his clothes and exposing his genitals while adults and children walked by before police apprehended him.

When in custody, he pushed the arresting officer with his handcuffs, scraping the officer.
