Beautiful summer days were forecast for Utah's mid-week with mostly sunny skies, breezes and warm temperatures on tap.

The National Weather Service predicted highs in the upper-80s for Wednesday, mirroring Tuesday's forecast for the Wasatch Front. Southern Utahns, meantime, looked for highs in the upper-90s both days under clear skies. Winds of 10-20 mph were expected throughout the state.

Air quality statewide was rated "Green," or good, according to the Utah Division of Environmental Quality.

Salt Lake City's high temperature Wednesday was predicted to be 89, up a couple degrees from Tuesday; Ogdenites expected readings of 86 and 84, respectively; Provo 91 and 88; Logan 84 and 81; Wendover 88 both days; Duchesne 88 and 84; Cedar City 90 and 88; St. George 100 and 99; and Moab 96 and 91 degrees.
