The Downtown Farmers Market on Saturday kicked off its 2012 season at Pioneer Park, marking its 20th anniversary.

More than 250 vendors offered fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, crafts and more.

The market will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays through Oct. 27. Later in the summer, it will also open on Tuesdays, from 4 p.m. to dusk, Aug. 7 through Oct. 23.
