Firefighters on Wednesday night had nearly contained a 300-acre brush fire south of Saratoga Springs.
The human-caused blaze started about 8 p.m. Wednesday near State Road 68. Firefighters were able to keep it from threatening any homes, said Utah Division of Forestry spokesman Jason Curry.

Southbound Redwood Road was briefly closed near 2200 North, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. Crews were expected to contain the fire late Wednesday night.
