The quartet performed shortened renditions of many of the musical’s biggest hits to an audience of shoppers and workers on their lunch breaks.
The preview performance marked the beginning of the production’s run at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City. The show runs through Sunday, June 3.
"Million Dollar Quartet" tells the story of Rock ‘n’ Roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins uniting Dec. 4, 1956 for what Heather Nash, The Gateway’s marketing director, called "one of the greatest jam sessions of all time."
