After a weekend of rainy and cool weather, Memorial Day was shaping up to be a beautiful one across the state.
Residents on Monday could expect sunny skies along with temperatures warming to near 70 degrees in northern Utah. Across southern Utah, temperatures were expected to creep into the mid 80s.

Those pleasant conditions was expected to continue through Tuesday though temperatures were forecasted to continue to climb.
The state’s air quality was listed as "good" through Wednesday, according to the Utah Department of Environmental Quality.
