Quilters, embroiderers gather in Sandy for show

The ninth annual Home Machine Quilting Show continues through Saturday at the South Towne Exposition Center, 9575 S. State St., Sandy.

Open to the public, the show for machine quilters and embroiderers features more than 100 classes on quilting, embroidery and sewing topics, according to a news release. More than 200 vendors have booths, and the event offers a dozen special quilt exhibits.

Show hours are Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost to attend is $10 per day.
