Utah man killed in Washington, D.C., wreck

A South Jordan man was killed Friday in a car crash near a Washington, D.C,. airport.

Daniel Hartung, 36, was in a taxi cab on the highway leading to Dulles International Aiport. The taxi got into a wreck with a Kia Sorento. Hartung died at the scene. Both drivers were transported to local hospitals.

Rob Yingling, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, did not have details of how the crash occurred. He said airport authority police are investigating the accident but no charges have been filed.
