Cool and cloudy weather is expected Wednesday throughout Northern Utah, while the southern areas will see a mild, partly sunny day.Rain showers will spread across the north through the morning, but are expected to taper off in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. There is a possibility of snow in higher elevations, but it’s not expected that it will affect travel in the area.
Cities throughout Northern Utah are expected to reach the low 60s Wednesday, and similar temperatures are expected for Thursday as well. While it is likely that most cities will see some rain fall Wednesday, there is about a 40-50 percent of more rain coming Thursday as well.

Higher temperatures are expected in Southern Utah, with St. George’s high on Wednesday expected to be 82, Moab’s 87, while Cedar City is expecting a cooler 68 degrees.
The Utah Department of Environmental Quality forecast "green" or healthy air quality for all regions for Wednesday through Friday.
