The West Wendover Police Department is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in connection with the hit-and-run death of Terron "Demi" Hooper.

On September 4, 2011, at about 1:44 a.m, a taxi cab driver found Hooper in the roadway near the intersection of Wendover Boulevard and Wells Avenue in West Wendover.

Hooper suffered fatal injuries from a hit-and-run auto/pedestrian accident, police said Tuesday in a news release.

West Wendover Police Chief Ron Supp said: "We are encouraging anyone with information into this tragic event to please come forward. The staff of the police department and those who knew Demi would like closure and justice."
