Salt Lake City police Tuesday were looking for a man who robbed a gas station convenience store.

Officers said the man lifted the front of his coat, indicated he had a gun and asked for money from the till.

The robber took a small amount of cash, cigarettes and some food items before fleeing on foot, police said. He was last seen heading west toward Fairmont Park.

Police said the robber was a white man in his mid-20s about 5-foot-7, with a medium build. He was wearing a gray jacket, a black beanie, Levi’s and white sneakers.
