Enjoy Wednesday's warm weather — Thursday, there may be snow.

The Utah National Weather Service reported that while Wednesday's highs could creep near the 70s, the warm weather won't last long — highs only in the 50s are expected Thursday.

Warm winds from the south will come through the state Wednesday. With the wind, cooler temperatures and a 50 percent chance of snow were predicted mainly in northern Utah and southwest Wyoming Thursday night into Friday.

Salt Lake City's high is expected to be near 70 degrees Wednesday, but will drop to 58 Thursday, bringing some wind and the chance of night rain or snow.

Ogden was expected to reach 67 Wednesday, then drop to 55 Thursday; Provo will reach 71 and 63, respectively; Logan 66 and 56; and Wendover 65 and 49.

Few snow showers were forecasted for Southern Utah over the next two days. Cedar City is expected to reach 66 degrees Wednesday, followed by a 61 Thursday. St. George is forecasted to also experience a temperature drop — from 79 Wednesday to 47 Thursday.

Moab was expected to hold steady over the two days, with highs of 75 on both Wednesday and Thursday.The Utah Department of Environmental Quality forecast "green" or healthy air quality for all regions for Wednesday through Friday.
