The parents of a 4-month-old baby were arrested Monday after the child was taken to a Salt Lake City hospital with both of her legs broken.
The Salt Lake City Police Department said the baby was taken to the hospital just before noon on Monday.

Officers were called to the hospital after the girl’s injuries were examined, and the 30-year-old female and 29-year-old male were arrested on suspicion of child abuse.
Officials said the unmarried couple had been staying with the child in a motel located at 819 W. North Temple when the incident occurred.jmiller@sltrib.com
