No injuries have been reported.
The episode began when a police officer tried to make a traffic stop near 700 S. Stubbs Ave. The driver put the car in reverse, rammed the officer’s car then drove away, said Provo police Sgt. Mathew Siufanua.
Officers pursued the car up Center Street and then to a field near 420 S. 2470 West, where at least the two men fled, Siufanua said.
One man tried kicking in the door of a nearby house but was unsuccessful, Siufanua said. Officers arrested him a short time later. The woman also was arrested, Siufanua said.
