Provo police said the dispatcher was walking in a parking lot at 2045 W. Center on Monday when she was struck by a Ford Windstar that was backing up. The victim grabbed onto the bumper to avoid being run over, and the driver dragged her about 10 to 15 feet and then drove away, police said.
The woman was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
