All meetings are open to the public, and citizens are welcome to voice their opinions during designated times. If you do wish to speak at a particular meeting, you may need to sign up in advance.
Salt Lake County Council » Will discuss the proposed move of accounting responsibilities from the Auditor’s Office to the Mayor’s Office along with Mayor Peter Corroon’s plan and timetable for revising the Foothills and Canyons Overlay Zone ordinance; 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20; North Building, County Government Center, 2001 S. Salt Lake City Council » Will discuss funding options for streetlights and proposed zoning changes to allow more so-called mother-in-law apartments; 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 20; Salt Lake City Hall, 451 S. State St. The City Council also will meet at 2 p.m. as the Redevelopment Agency Board.
West Jordan >> Hosts a special Town Hall meeting to discuss repealing or reenacting the telecommunications tax, which brings in an estimated $1.5 million for road repair each year; 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Fire Station 53, 7602 S. Jordan Landing Blvd.

Riverton >> The city seeks input on its long-range general plan at a "Rediscovering Riverton" meeting at 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at 12830 S. Redwood Rd. The meeting will focus on the Redwood Road corridor area from Riverton’s north boundary to the Bangerter Highway.
