A UTA bus and an SUV were totaled in a collision early Wednesday in Ogden.
The UTA bus was traveling east on 25th Street about 5:50 a.m. when it T-boned the SUV headed south on Harrison Boulevard, shoving it within inches of a nearby home, said Ogden police Lt. Danielle Croyle.

Both vehicles were crushed, and crews had to extricate the bus driver. Both drivers were taken to a hospital in critical condition, Croyle said.
No passengers were in either vehicle.
A witness has said the bus ran a stop sign, Croyle said.
No citations were issued, since both drivers were taken to the hospital and it couldn’t be confirmed what happened, Croyle said. The case will continue to be investigated and will be screened by Ogden city prosecutors before any charges are filed.
