More sunny weather is in store for the Salt Lake and Tooele valleys this week, with Spring-like temperatures reaching the lower 60s.

The National Weather Service is forecasting sunny weather Monday morning that will become partly cloudy but maintain highs in the lower 60s.

Tuesday should be partly cloudy and slightly warmer, with highs in the mid-60s and south winds that will increase to 20 to 30 mph in the late morning through afternoon.

The warm weather was forecast to continue through Friday evening, when a 30 percent chance or rain showers and cooler temperatures in the lower 40s will arrive. A 30 percent chance of snow showers arrives on Saturday and increases to 50 percent on Sunday.
