Clear skies and above-average temperatures are in store for the weekend, forecasters say.
Highs along the Wasatch Front and south to Cedar City are expected to climb from the mid-40s Thursday into the 60s on Sunday, above historical averages in the low 50s, said National Weather Service meteorologist Monica Traphagan.

"Spring is a transition season, so variability like we’re seeing is kind of a normal track," Traphagan said.
A light storm front is approaching northern Utah and may bring clouds and some precipitation on Monday afternoon or Tuesday, "but it doesn’t look particularly impressive," Traphagan said.
That could lead to cooler temperatures early next week in southern Utah, she said.
Nighttime skies should also be clear, giving a boost of brilliance to Thursday’s full moon.
