The burglars of Taylorsville may want to clean up after themselves.
Police there arrested a man after his DNA was found at a house that was burglarized in April 2011.

According to charges filed Monday in 3rd District Court, a resident near 4900 South and 3500 West found a basement window broken and about $3,000 worth of fixtures and tools missing.
But a pair of gloves and a cigarette butt were left behind, police wrote. The items were sent to the state crime lab, where technicians found DNA that matched that of a 29-year-old West Valley City man indexed in a DNA database.
The man denied going to the house and offered another DNA sample, which also matched the items found at the house.
He is charged with burglary, a second-degree felony, and theft, a third-degree felony.
