The Unified Police Department is seeking the public’s help in bringing to justice the suspect who held up a Cyprus Credit Union branch in Riverton.
The suspect — described as a white male, 5-foot-9, thin, wearing sunglasses, an orange bandana, a blue-gray-and-white hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and black gloves — walked into the branch office at 13717 S. Redwood Road about 4 p.m. last Friday. He did not display a weapon, but threatened the teller and others in the credit union if the teller did not hand over cash and her car keys.

The teller complied and the suspect fled with money and the keys, stole the teller’s car and then abandoned it on a service road near 900 West and Bangerter Highway. Using search dogs, police conducted a manhunt but the suspect remained at large on Tuesday.
UPD has released photos from a credit union security camera of the suspect during the robbery.
Anyone with information on this case is urged to call 801-743-7000.
