Roseman hires new chancellor from an Ohio medical school

Roseman University, a private, nonprofit health-profession school based in Nevada, has hired a chancellor to supervise its growing South Jordan campus.

Mark Penn is a longtime administrator with Northeast Ohio Medical University, serving in a variety capacities, including senior vice president for academic affairs.

Rapid expansion of offerings at Roseman’s Utah campus highlighted the need for a local high-level administrator to oversee existing programs and set the stage for future growth, said the school’s founder and president, Harry Rosenberg.

As chancellor, Penn will have academic and fiscal oversight for all programs, as well as administrative oversight of campus operations. He also will hold an additional appointment as special assistant to the president to help plan and implement strategies for development of new academic programs at Roseman’s Utah and Nevada campuses. The South Jordan campus currently offers programs in dentistry, pharmacy and nursing.
