Urban farming advocates in CSA Utah (Community Supported Agriculture) will hold their annual open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wheeler Farm, 6351 S. 900 East, in Murray.
The open house gives the public a chance to buy "shares" in the harvests of Utah farmers in CSA. People pay a fee at the beginning of the growing season to help a farmer meet operating expenses, then receive portions of the farm’s harvest each week of the growing season, said Salt Lake County spokeswoman Michelle Schmitt.
