A boy and a girl remained in critical condition late Sunday, a day after a car wreck injured six teens.
Three teens were ejected when a Mitsubishi Outlander rolled off State Road 36 about 10 miles south of Tooele at about 4 p.m. Saturday, said Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Steve Winward. The six occupants — ages 16 and 17 — were returning to the Tooele area from Rush Valley, Winward said.

The three in the front seat were wearing safety belts and were not seriously injured, he said. The three in the back seat were ejected. In addition to the two critical patients, one boy was in serious condition Sunday.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, but detectives are investigating whether drugs were involved, Winward said. They don’t know why the Tooele girl believed to be the driver went off the road.
