A man died after being ejected from a pickup early Sunday on Interstate 80 near Granstville.

James Doyle, 51, was ejected from the truck after it rolled in a single-vehicle accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The black 2001 Chevrolet Silverado he was in was eastbound on I-80 at about 7:25 a.m. The driver lost control and went into the median, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The truck rolled across the eastbound lanes and came to rest on the right shoulder.

It is unclear who was driving the vehicle, which had multiple occupants.

Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, according to the UHP.
