Ogden police Wednesday evening said they had identified the body of a 19-year-old man found dead in a church parking lot Wednesday, but were still waiting for autopsy results to determine how he died.

Police identified the man as Tyler Thomas Lloyd, of Ogden, and said he had not been reported missing prior to being found dead in the back parking lot of a Mormon chapel near the northwest corner of Winchester Lane and Shadow Valley Drive.

Ogden police Lt. Danielle Croyle said there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body. Lloyd was spotted by passers-by about 9 a.m. and emergency medical personnel who responded to the 911 call declared the man dead at the scene.

"There’s nothing for us to determine cause of death at this point. The investigation is continuing pending an autopsy," Croyle said.
