A man was stabbed in a robbery Monday evening in Salt Lake City, police said.
The victim, 51, reported that he drove to a spot near 400 S. Redwood Road about 5 p.m. to meet a long-time acquaintance and another man, said Salt Lake City police Sgt. Shawn Josephson. When he arrived, the man accompanying the victim’s acquaintance stabbed the victim and took his money, Josephson said. The acquaintance then took the car that the victim was driving.
