The Utah Highway Patrol reported that the accident occurred about 6:30 a.m., roughly 10 miles north of Tooele, when the southbound car went off the west shoulder and rolled, ejecting the 45-year-old victim.

UHP Corporal Todd Johnson said troopers were investigating the possibility that the woman was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The woman, whose identity was not immediately released, was flown by medical helicopter to a hospital in Salt Lake City.
