Olympic host cities

When the Summer Olympics are held July 27 through Aug. 12, London will be the first city to have staged the Games three times (2012, 1948 and 1908). Five others have been hosts twice:

Athens » 2004 and 1896

St. Moritz » 1948 and 1928

Lake Placid » 1980 and 1932

Los Angeles » 1984 and 1932

Innsbruck » 1976 and 1964
