Utahns revel at Winter Games’ 10-year anniversary celebration

Saturday’s Olympic Legacy Celebration at Gallivan Center drew crowds of Utahns wanting to relive the 2002 Winter Games.

The event featured pin trading, free ice skating, a Roots Beret parade, athlete appearances and more, all capped off by a fireworks show.

The community celebration continues Saturday, Feb. 18, with an ice skating show at EnergySolutions Arena and a free Olympic sports festival at The Gateway Mall.
