The victim, described as a 26-year-old man, was rushed to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

UPD Lt. Justin Hoyal said police had identified the victim but were not releasing his name pending further investigation.

"We’re talking to his family. He’s not from Kearns, so we’re trying learn what brought him to the area," Hoyal said. "Other than that, we don’t have much to go on right now."

The victim was conscious and breathing when found, but non communicative, police said.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call UPD at 801-743-7000.
