It looks like it’s going to be a calm, sunny week of weather in the Salt Lake Valley.
"In a word, quiet," said Mike Seaman, forecaster for the National Weather Service, of the week’s outlook.

Storm systems have split north and south, leaving the valley with temperatures a few degrees above normal, hovering in the low- to mid-40s all week.
The split storm systems will also leave southern Utah "high and dry" this week, Seaman said.
St. George can expect highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Cedar City and Lake Powell will see highs in the lower 50s all week.
A weak system is forecasted to move in on Wednesday, and it may bring some snow to the mountains, but it should be a pretty minor storm, Seaman said.
Haze may start to gather in the Salt Lake Valley over the next couple of days, but Wednesday’s weak system could clear out any buildup, he said.
