A 35-year-old man suffered critical injuries Saturday after he was thrown from his motorcycle in Lehi.
Lehi Police Sgt. Jeff Swenson said the man was westbound about 4:30 p.m. on his motorcycle near 700 E. Main St. when a Lexus pulled out of a nearby parking lot in front him to turn left. The motorcyclist attempted to stop but collided with the back end of the Lexus, Swenson said.

The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the bike and suffered head trauma, Swenson said.
He was flown by medical helicopter to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo where he was listed in critical condition Saturday night, he said.
Swenson said the driver of the Lexus told officers he didn’t see the motorcycle. The driver and a passenger were not injured.
An accident investigation team was looking into the incident, he said. No citations were immediately issued.
