Popular KUTV television news anchor Mary Nickles was diagnosed with breast cancer last month after a routine mammogram screening. Since the mammorgram was filmed for a health segment the station was doing, Nickles decided to make her cancer battle public. While she says it is uncomfortable being part of the story, she feels it is important to educate viewers and help others who may be going through the same thing.

For this week's Three Questions, The Salt Lake Tribune's Kim McDaniel sat down with Nickles to ask about her treatment, the reaction she's getting from the public, the most surprising and difficult things thus far and whether she has any regrets about doing all of this publicly.
