Clearfield police seek help in identifying robber

Clearfield police are seeking help in identifying the suspect in a gas station robbery.

The robbery occurred Tuesday at the Chevron at 1716 S. Main St. A surveillance camera recorded images of possible suspects.

The footage shows a man inside the store who fled after the robbery, police said. The footage also shows a person getting into a white 1990s car, possibly a Geo Prism or Chevy Cavalier, that was parked in a nearby parking lot next to Antelope Elementary, police said.

Anyone with information about the crime or who may recognize the man or car may call Clearfield police at 801-525-2806 or go to the Tip Line accessible through the city’s website at www.clearfieldcity.org.
