Hernandez was at the Club Karamba, a Salt Lake City night club at 1049 E. 2100 South, at about 1 a.m. Sunday when he tried to dance with a woman who told him she didn’t want to dance with him, according to Detective Mike Hamideh of the Salt Lake City Police Department. He grabbed the woman’s breasts and told her to dance with him, according to court documents.
After two of the 29-year-old woman’s friends came to help her, a fight began and Hernandez pulled a knife on a man and a security guard who tried to break up the fight, Hamideh said.
Hernandez stabbed one man multiple times in the abdomen, arm and face. The man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The other man was stabbed on the side of his body, court documents state, and taken to a hospital.
When police detained Hernandez he gave them a false name, court documents state.
Hernandez is being held at the Salt Lake County Jail on $50,007 bail.
