First Published Jan 11 2012 07:39 am • Last Updated Jan 11 2012 07:47 am

Utah’s mid-week forecast calls for partly cloudy and near-freezing daytime high temperatures in the north, while the state’s southern reaches will bask in sunny but windy weather with highs in the 50s.

Overnight lows were predicted to be 15-to-20 degrees along the Wasatch Front, while southern Utahns looked for low temperatures ranging into the upper-20s. Southern Utah also was forecast to be buffeted Thursday by winds of up to 30 mph.
