A car crash in downtown Salt Lake City on Sunday left three people injured after a vehicle careened into a Jiffy Lube.

At about 3:30 p.m., a Mazda sports utility vehicle was westbound on 400 South when it struck a northbound Subaru on 700 East. After the initial crash, the Mazda continued across the intersection, left the roadway, crossed the Jiffy Lube driveway and entered an open service bay at 677 E. 400 South.

The Mazda struck an employee before hitting a Jaguar with a man inside. The employee and the Jaguar occupant were taken to the hospital in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Mazda passenger was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

No citations have been issued, but the incident is still under investigation.
