The Colorado State Patrol on Friday night identified the Utah man who died in a fiery accident there Thursday.

Colorado authorities identified the man as 62-year-old Donald O'Neil, of Huntington. Initially, authorities said Huntington was of Vernal, but they corrected his city of residence Friday.

Troopers said O'Neil was driving a tractor trailer carrying crude oil northbound Thursday morning on Moffat County Road 51 in Colorado when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing the rig to roll and burst into flames.

O'Neil died at the scene.
