A Veyo, Washington County, man died of injuries he sustained in a rollover on the Dammeron Valley stretch of State Road 18 in Southern Utah on Wednesday.

Dennis Brown, 43, was driving northbound when his 2001 Oldsmobile Alero left the road, slammed into a traffic barrier and rolled, landing on its top, Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said Thursday.

Brown, who was ejected, was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George and then flown by medical helicopter to Las Vegas, Nev., where he later was pronounced dead, Johnson said.

Johnson said no other vehicles were involved, Brown was alone in the vehicle, and troopers found no evidence of alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
