A 22-year-old man was sentenced Friday to prison for up to 20 years for shooting and wounding another man outside the Green Street Social Club in February.

Massimo Marini pleaded guilty in June to second-degree felony aggravated assault and third-degree felony discharge of a firearm.

Judge Judith Atherton ordered the two terms to run concurrently.

The shooting stemmed from an argument in a parking lot outside the Salt Lake City bar at about 1:20 a.m. on Feb. 19.

The fight became physical, then Marini fired his gun and the victim, a 26-year-old man, was hit in the knee, according to police.
