A 45-year-old man died Tuesday when his Jeep Cherokee drifted over the center lane and off the State Route 142 roadway, rolling several times.

Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said Michael S. Winn of North Logan was not wearing a seat belt when he crashed at 5:17 p.m. near Clarkston.

Winn, who was ejected during the accident, was taken to Cache Valley Specialty Hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
